The friendly staff were really good too make me feel welcome and even made a dinner reservation for me at a nearby restaurant. The location in the historic district was perfect for exploring the unique shops and enjoying the local wine and spirits trail. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast served in the sunny and bright dining room with plated poached eggs over eggplant, bacon, and potatoes, as well as toast and apple tarts. It was the perfect start to my day on my getaway from Boston.

We arrived in this quaint New England escape after a scenic drive through the valley. Nestled in a charming historic district, the house exuded classic charm. Our room, the Strawberry Banke, boasted a comfortable king-sized bed and an abundance of natural light. The bathroom, although quirky, was clean and well-maintained. The owners, Steve and Joan, provided exceptional service and gave helpful suggestions for local attractions and dining options. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast that awaited us each morning, a true culinary delight.
The only minor issue we encountered was a brief wait for hot water in the shower, understandable given the age of the property.
